Parents of Mason sisters Tasmania

Rubina Mason (b) 1867 in Hobart and her sister Emmaline (b) 1870 in Lyell, would like some help in finding who their parents were.
Rubina married Charles Farnfield and Emmaline married Frederick Williams.

they  may  have been  born  overseas

I checked the avri which has Tas records to 1900 - I couldn't find a birth either (but I sometimes miss the spelling variations).

A cousin has told me there are no parents signatures on either marriage certificate, I think I will have to check it out for myself.

FARNFIELD is an unusual name and there don't appear to be any listed in the white pages now in Tasmania.

You might like to look at these FARNFIELD burials in  Hobart in case there is something familiar or useful to you. They were born around the 60's, 70's and 80's [I don't see your people though]

PS  There is a CHARLES FARNFIELD arriving as a convict to Tas. in 1852.
Age would not be right as husband to Rubina, but there may be a connection .

Isee that  Rubina Farnfiled  had  died  in victoria  1946 aged 79  father  is  charles farnfield  mother  unknown  reg no 852

so  has  the  sister but  no  parents  again

maybe the wedding  certificate  is  the  only  way to  go

Sadly, it was not compulsory to have parents on marriage certificates in Tasmania until 1896, so they may not be there
