Hi Sandra  I think you are right about Laurence’s marriage in 1918 .Why I said I was confused about Thomas was that you mentioned the picture from the 1970s.Is it okay to send you my email address through a personal message.

If his service record has survived (with over 60% of WW1 service records burnt during the WW2 blitz), then those that survived are on Ancestry or FindMyPast which as you probably know are subscription sites.

Currently don't have a subscription to either.

Hi all 
 I  am hoping for a bit of help with some some names my 3 great grand parents  were Thomas  Crowley and Brigit Staples(Stapleton) from Bannow but all i could find was a Thoman  Crowley and Brigam  Stapleton  from Carrick on bannon could these be the same people the date are very close and i cant find any else to match
