As I am no scholar of Latin, so I can offer no help to translate
Fasti Ecclesiĉ Scoticanĉ (it took me 4 years to fail French).
I can describe the Fasti. It is a series of books, divided firstly into synods, then pesbyteries, and finally the parishes of the Church of Scotland. There were a dozen or so synods in Scotland, each with 3 to 6 presbyteries within. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Church_of_Scotland_synods_and_presbyteries for some description of the Church of Scotland structure.
Back to the Fasti. For each parish, there is a description of the setting up of that parish - where, when, which parish it was separated from and the like. After that is the list of ministers who have served in that parish from the time of the Reformation or its start until the early 20th century (date depending on the edition). There are supplementary volumes covering the more recent years. Within that list of ministers, there is a paragraph or two about each of them.
The information is typically the date and place of birth, names of parents, and the universities studied at. That followed by the date and place of being licenced and ordained to preach in the Church of Scotland. Then the dates and places of all of the parishes where he was minister over the years. Also included are marriage(s) place and date, spouse(s) (and her parents), children and their dates (and some marriage details). His death is also normally listed too.
I would define it as a "Who's Who" of ministers of the Church of Scotland.
In Scotland, it should be available in the main libraries and I would think that some of the Family History Societies may hold some or all of the volumes. There will be volumes in some of the major libraries around the world, but I wouldn't like to speculate which ones (a web search may provide the answer to that).
