My Smileys gone !

Ok - I was fiddlin' I admit it...and somehow I've lost my smiley lightbulb !  I want him back, I miss him  -  Please can someone talk me through this ?
I've spent 45 mins again this morning trying every which way to put him back where the crest goes..  What am I doing wrong.  He came from http://fool.exler.ru/en/sm_all.htm.


I managed to put the fried egg one on though ! (Gold star to me  )  Trouble is I can't remember how..so I can't do it again.
Not a very important request in the scheme of things, so no hurry and anyway I have to go and do my ironing..
PS I have read  the instructions on other threads so must be misunderstanding something.

Rootschat has recently changed from Rootschat.co.uk to RootsChat.Com.  If you are still trying to link to the .co.uk address that will be the problem.  Just change that in your profile and all will be revealed.

Kazza thanks for reply but you are dealing with someone who knows nothing!.  Been and had a look, where in the profile do I change to .com  .  Also when try agin do I put it in the I have my own crest or the box below..since I did it the first time the wording has changed slightly originally it was 'I have my own pic'

Hi Suey,

I've just read your post and thought I'd have a go!

What you do is .... go to http://fool.exler.ru/en/sm_all.htm. (if he's not on this page try http://fool.exler.ru/en/sm06.htm ... right click on the smiley you want and go to 'save picture as' and save it to your desktop or somewhere ... then click on 'profile' at the top of this page .... click on 'forum profile information' and then go to 'I will upload my own crest' and then click on 'browse' and find you smiley where you saved it.

Hopefully then you will have your smiley back!
