Roy ,
thank you for your email.  Is there anyone on line that would have access to 1861 census Sussex?
George Taylor was born Diddling 1855 . I know his father was Mark Taylor but I would like to know if I could find out his mothers name or if he had sibblings.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Most sincerely,
Jennifer

Hi Valda and Roy,
I want to express my sincere gratitude for all the help that you two have given me with the Taylor genealogy. This is so wonderful.  Thank you both for all you have given me regarding my mom's side of the family.  You have not only helped me but my mom will be excited to read it as well.
Thank you Valda and Roy.
Most Sincerely,
Jennifer

Jennifer in reply to your pm about possible candidates for George and Mary Ann's daughter on the 1901 census and the whereabouts of the siblings you specified of George's on the 1901 census, this is the information you requested.

Lydia B A Taylor born Trotton Sussex was with her parents Alfred E E Taylor and wife Eliza J in Trotton on the 1901 census. Alfred was a baker aged 34 and born Shoreham.
Doris E. Taylor was also born Trotton and was with her parents on the 1901 census in Reading Berkshire. Her parents were Allan R. Taylor a 26 year old pork butcher born South Hastings and Baslicia R.

Alfred Taylor, a general labourer, aged 39 and born Colworth was with his wife Ellen (Alfred's father-in-law was living with them) and young son James aged 4 in Graffham.

Amos E. Howick and wife Alice M a 32 year old laundress born Leyford were also living in Graffham with Amos' father.

Arthur W. Taylor a bricklayer, aged 35 and born Tillington with wife Frances C. was also in Graffham. They were living with Arthur's mother Maria who was head of household. In the household was maria's two grandsons, presumably the children of Arthur and Frances, both born Graffham - Arthur W. Taylor aged 3 and Ernest A. Taylor aged 1.

Minnie M Tupper aged 33 and born Petworth was with her husband Frederick in Battersea. With them were their 5 children aged between 13 and 2. The oldest two were born in Sussex and the rest in Battersea.

Valda,
Thank you for looking up the two Baby girls born 1896 and 1900.  Although it wasnt what I hoped for it certainly gives me more information on the Taylor line.   The search for George and Mary Anns's daughter continues.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thank you .
Most Sincerely,
Jennifer (Canada)
