I have finally located the burial of Archibald Harper Donaldson who married Sarah J. Lamb.  Archibald was born in South Shields, son of Archibald H. Donaldson.  He is in Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, California.  He died December 16, 1967.  I may have found his wife in California as well.  Sarah J. Donaldson, b. 1890 and died 1984.  Archibald's sister Mary Ann married Oswald Clazey. She died March 18, 1916 in Staten Island.  Anyone researching Donaldson who remained in England?

Hello there, i know this thread is an old one, but my name is Kevin Donaldson and live in Sunderland, England, i have been researching my family, i have found that they are from West Lothian outside of Edinburgh, Scotland and have researched back to 1755.

One of the old census references I found put Thomas Donaldson born in Scotland but have been unable to confirm that.  Thomas had a brother William....
