Now, I know this is an ancient post, but it's always worth asking!

I am looking for two people I believe to be buried in Maesteg Cemetery:

Elizabeth Davies, died November 17th, 1925, of John Street, Maesteg.

Eliza Mary Williams, died August 2nd, 1895, of Nantyffyllon Cottages, Maesteg.

And, as an extra long shot - Samuel Davies, died between 1901 and 1911 (born 1853) of 51 High St, Llangynwyd.

Many thanks,
Caroline.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much.
I always wondered what happened to John Alfred - he was Eliza Mary William's brother. They were orphaned as small children and every member of their family died so young.

And the whole Davies family - that's another treasure.

I'm planning a visit to Maesteg later in the year so will be able to visit the grave and tidy up if necessary.
I really appreciate your help, difficult to do this when I'm in New Zealand.

Best regards,
Caroline.

Hi - If the offer is still active after so many years, could I put in a plea for a couple of lookups, please? CHARD in Llangynwyd.
I am expecting the burial of Robert Carter CHARD d1873 in Llangynwyd. Also, Jane CHARD d1875 in Llangynwyd area. Thinking that she is buried in St Cynwyd Church's cemetery.

If any other CHARD names arise from this request, then those will likely provide more leads.

This request comes from Australia, and I cannot see me travelling there any time soon, although it would be very pleasant, I am sure.

I am very grateful that people have taken the time to apply themselves to such an endeavour. Rain and wind was mentioned earlier in this thread, and that must have been quite a trying day.

I am sure that I must have family buried in Maesteg (different surnames), but I need to consult my FH research for this.

Abundant thanks, Eggd.

Here's another request - on behalf of someone else...

Thomas ‘Tommy’ Ivor Loveland born 24th August 1897
Died February 9th, 1976.
May be buried near his his mother Elizabeth Loveland who died in 1938.

Many thanks, if this is possible.

Caroline.
