Knocknagalla

 Anybody have any idea where Knocknagalla is/was, in Co. Offaly.      - Came across the placename, but cannot see it anywhere  on the townlands in Griffith Valuation.  Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.  Anyone help, please ?

       I tried replying  a few days ago (Jan 1st), but in spite of being told my message was sent, nothing has appeared on the page...and I don't know if you got the personal message I tried to send, either (same  thing - told it was "already sent") so, I'm trying again. Can you indicate some recognisable town/village, as I'm none the wiser about Knocknagalla, or Knocknagrally, if it IS the same place ?

 Hi MikeW.
    It Is knocknagarally but the civil parish you need is ABBEYLEIX.
       Now Queens comes under Laois Queens.
            Go to the G/valuation .
   Click on Laois Prov: Leinster  You will see ABBEYLEIX.
        That should  give you what you are looking for.

I'm afraid  family history has been very much on the back-burner in recent months. I did have a bash at Laois, but no luck ....Knocknagalla will have to wait for another time.
