Baptism In Ashburton, Devon

Hiya

I am looking for the baptism of Thomas Bickham around 1808, and he was born in Ashburton.  Does anyone know what churches I should look for his baptism in, and also what record office holds the baptisms

hi ive found a thomas bickham  born 25 march 1803 ashburton father thomas mother julia i know its 5 years out but you never know i go to plymouth records office every week if your stilllooking next week i will look it up 4 u if u wish david

If you redo the search at family search (using parents Thomas Bickham and Julia - you get the following children

Thomas CHR  25 MAR 1803 Ashburton,
Julia  CHR 15 SEP 1805 Saint Stephen, Exeter, 
John  CHR  28 MAY 1809 Saint Stephen, Exeter,
William  CHR  21 JUN 1807 Saint Stephen, Exeter,   
           Death: 13 FEB 1810
Elizabeth  CHR  23 JUL 1811 St Peter Cathedral, Exeter,
William   CHR 09 JUL 1814 Saint Peter Cathedral, Exeter,
(also 1815 so one date is probably wrong)
Charles  CHR  18 JUN 1821 Saint Peter Cathedral, Exeter
Louisa  CHR 09 NOV 1823 Saint Peter Cathedral, Exeter

Now unless you know for sure that your Thomas grew up in Exeter - as well as the fact that the date is  not correct - then chances are high this is NOT your family.

I'm also looking for Bickhams (as you know) and I'm fairly sure mine never lived in Exeter.

Your Thomas is the one who moved to Somerset & Married Rosamond, right?
