Look-up for New South Wales emigration from UK

We are trying to find out any details on the emigration of the following people to Sydney, Australia circa 1877-1880.

The names are:  Anthony Rowe aged circa 20 years, Wife Sarah Caroline Rowe circa 20 years.

We believe they had three children whilst living in Sydney:-

Josephine born circa 1878
Anthony born circa 1880
Lilian Ruby born circan 1889

Any help finding our relatives would be much appreciated!

THis family eventually moved from Australia to Maine USA and we are trying to track them there as well!

If you go to the NSW state records website you will find Anthony, Sarah C, & Josephine arrived assisted passage on "Samuel Plimsoll" in 1879.

Mary Alice Sarah born 1879 Pleasant Creek Reg: 24998 died 1881 Pleasant Creek aged 1 Reg: 2377
Anthony born 1881 Pleasant Creek Reg: 25325

Note: Pleasant Creek is in the Wimmera District of Victoria.

Thanks so much - this family is very interesting!  Anthony Rowe is a nephew of our g-g-grandmother.   He left Falmouth and lived in Rawtanstall Lancs (we think working in the cotton mills).  He then upped and went with his young family to Australia - we thought it might be the gold rush and now you have confirmed this.   The family returned to Lancashire and then moved to Lewiston, Maine USA (where Anthony's brother Henry was already living) and Henry worked in the cotton mills there.  His daughter Lillian (Lily) married Clarence Quimby who was a well-known New England Educator and has a Media Centre named after him at the University of New England!!!

Anthony had two brothers who seem to disappear off UK records about the same time it is a longshot but they may also have emigrated to Oz - they were William and Samuel Rowe.

I am not sure whether this is worth mentioning.
I did not in last post as it was out of your time frame [1879 arrival for Catherine and Anthony,]
There is a death recorded fo a little Annie Rowe aged 2 in 1875 in Pleasant Creek.
I saw it on the last bit of the website I gave above.
Maybe the child of another brother of Anthony's.
Genni or another may find proper details for you.

Can you give us the parents names of Anthony, William & Samuel Rowe.  There is a William Arthur
ROWE (born: Falmouth) marrying in victoria in 1877.

The Annie who died in 1875 was the daughter of a Charles ROWE.

Hi, Thanks a lot.
Williams' parents were Anthony and Theresa both living in Lancashire,England.
William was born in 1855 approx. and was born in Falmouth. He was William John and his brother was Samuel Charles born  c 1867. Hope that helps,
