1851 or 61 lookup please in Sutton

Hi ,
   could anyone tell me if there is any Steel or Steele families in Meg Lane,Sutton nr.Macclesfield.My gggrandmother Mary Steel died in 1843 in Meg Lane,on 1871 census her son Jeremiah Steel is at Old Field Farm,Meg Lane,so was wondering if they are there in 51 and 61.
     any help appreciated.

Hi Peter,
            many thanks for that ,the only children I had were from1871 census(only Boden and Caroline),I have Jeremiah with brothers George and Boden on the 1841 in Gradbach,Staffs,there is a marriage on cheshire bmd for a Jeremiah Steel and Ann Warrington in 1843 at Prestbury,St.Peter,I think this could be the one,also on cheshirebmd is death of Boden Steele 69 in 1926,but there are two Jeremiah Steele deaths 1877 age 70 and 1879 age 74 both in Sutton district.

       Yes there are two Jerimiahs on the 1871 one born Gradbach c1804 one born Quarnford c1810 both farming in Sutton, which one did you want remember that farms changed names over the years, both seem to have had sons named Jerimiah

Hi Peter,
            I have seen both 1871 censuses,I would imagine the one with son called Bowden is mine,Jeremiah was born 1807,my ancestor Jacob was born 1813 and they had brother called Boden born 1817.
   If you have 1841 could you check if there is a Mary Steel in same area,she died Megg Lane in 1843,she is not on 1841 Staffs with Jeremiah,she would be 64,

Hi Peter,
             Mary married James Steel in Alstonefield,Staffs in 1797,but on her death cert she was a widow,dont know anything about James Steel (birth,death,age,family),at time of her marriage Mary was from Wincle.On familyhistoryonline I have managed to find MI for Jeremiah Steele(him,his wife and 3 children also young Jeremiah's wife and two of there children),they were buried at St.James,Sutton

            Sorry there is no sign of her in Sutton district in 1841, do you have a maiden name,I could search Wincle to see if there is any family left there.

Hi Peter,
          her maiden name was Oliver,her brother James died in Wincle in 1836,he had the following children Joseph(1795),Mary(1798),James(1800),Matthew(1803),William(1806),remarried and had another William(1817).
