Hi Tazzie

I hope you are ready for this Barnard Page of Husborne Crawley married a Collins from Wavendon.

Barnard's daughter Emma (1830's) married Job Sibley of H.C. whose son Alfred William Sibley born 1864 is my grand-father. No I am not that OLD. ;D

We went to Wavendon on Thursday and a resident told me that Hog Sty End was
previously known as Woburn Sands but in the village of Wavendon.

Are you off the floor yet.

I have all of H.C. Crawley baps so if I can help look any up let me know.

Am going out for a few hours hopefully you may find your Collins are another line in
the Village and therefore dis-own me. LOL.

Be in touch.

Sandy

    Sandy.....wow....

Now it looks as though I am related to you......hubby had some connection as well if I remember ( My Palmers/Hales).

We are off to Wavendon now only 5 mins from here then can do Woburns Sands and Husborne Crawley as well.

What a weekend this has been...I have been staring at a brick wall for 4 years on this and it's all falling into place.

Have seen Bernard's wedding to Ann 1823 Aylesbury. They have a son on IGI Joseph b Wavendon.

So far I have Joseph/Josiah ..as he changes his name , Sarah Elizabeth dies age 37 in 1870 Q2 ,he remarries Q4 1870 to Mary Ann Taylor in Woburn..1881 3 more children.
Sarah Elizabeth marries John Green who dies early in 1876 she live with Jon Miller/Millard in 1881 ...has my great grandad Albert in 1886 ( father John Green on wedding cert). She marries John Millard in 1887. Only got Millard name yesterday.

Bouncing off walls/ceilings and floors ;D

Off now camera and kiddies in the car ....report back later.

Hi again Tazzie

I have also found the 2 children noted as being in Husborne Crawley on the 1851
Elizabeth and Harriet's baptisms.

Following in a P.M.

Also there was another child called Harriet Fossey in the village one year younger
maybe why Henerietta is noted in the 1851 as such.

Hi Tazzie

Thanks for P.M.

It seems that John died in 1840 hence no more children.

My family were in and around Husborne Crawley, Aspley Guise, Eversholt, Ridgmont,
and Woburn/Woburn Sands.

All beautiful places although the M1 runs close to Crawley.

I just looked in my records of the Duke of Bedford to see if the family were
contracted to him but as John dies so early obviously not.

Parents of Joseph /Josiah Jackson Collins are listed as
John & Elizabeth in 1841. Age of John is 32 so I have found  a baptism
1808 16 Jan Wavenden which gives his parents as John Collins and Elizabeth ....there is a marriage in Woburn of John Collins & Elizabeth GREEN....1794...
.. back full circle to my Albert Green.

Hi Tazzie

I think you will need more than that lay down and coffee as it seems you may come into my line again.  ;D

From your P.M.

Also John Fossey died 1840 age 28 so is he the 1812 baptism son of William Fossey and Elizabeth Smart?

If so Alexander Smart and Ann Lord's daughter Ann married William Sibley in 1812.

Their son William Sibley married Caroline Emerton in 1836.

And their son Job Sibley married Emma Page.

Emma Page is the daughter of Barnard who married Ann Collins.

Back to the beginning for me too.

Need some tablets my head hurts.

Taking an early night.
