BANFIELD 1851/61 Census - Fulham
« on: Wednesday 31 January 07 00:25 GMT (UK) »
Would someone be kind enough to verify the Banfield household of Fulham in the 1851/61 Census.

Head of household would be Edwin, born <1806> probably in London.  Wife is Sarah, born <1807> in Bermondsey.

There should be a son, Joseph Samuel Banfield, born 1843.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Many thanks Darcy for your prompt reply...the reference to St. George Hanover Square may take me back further.

Hi Dave,

Yes, I thought it was great that an actual district came up for Edwin in
1861. Hope it leads to lots more info for you.
