Padre in the mounties

 I have heard tell that an uncle went to Canada and became a Padre in the Mounted Police.
I would like to know where I could get information to either prove or dispel what could be a family myth.
I only know his name was either
James Steele born  1892 Co. Antrim
or
Edward Steele born 1894 Co. Antrim.

Here is the information we can refer you to... Many early 20th century records aren't there (1904-1920)...   Too bad it hadn't been earlier, as there are a lot of records on line for previous years...
Read the contents of the page throughly before making contact with someone on the site..... Might have a separate listing for ministers, reverends, etc.

By the way" I've heard tell" is a good beginning....but there are some who have found the family legend to be true...
