Don't know whether this will help you at all but I found the following names on a passenger list (bound for South Africa) for a ship called "Indian Queen" which arrived July 1858.

George UNDERWOOD aged 30 (Carpenter)
Catherine UNDERWOOD aged 29
George John aged 9
Mary Ann aged 7
Henry aged 3

This is such an old post that you probably won’t see this but if it applies to anyone else, Beatrice Hairsine married a Mr Meyerhoff, I have the tree but won’t put much on here now. I wanted to let you know that a book was written about their daughter Beatrice Jr. private message me for more info it’s great reading.
