Flitwick parish - COUSINS

The IGI records the birth of Richard Cousins s/o Joseph and Susan at Flitwick on 12 April 1805.   I am searching for details of his marriage to Mary circa 1825 also the marriage of Joseph and Susan.

Any help with PRs would be much appreciated.

Hi Peter

Virtually all of Beds pre 1812 has been extracted onto the IGI - there's a marriage in Flitwick on 30 Nov 1804 between Joseph Cousins and Susan Deacon. But I can't see the marriage of Richard. As Mary in 1861 and 1871 gives her birthplace as Westoning, and as Westoning post 1812 has not been extracted it's going to need a look up in the microfilm I'm afraid. And I can't help with that I regret

Many thanks for your reply.  The marriage of Joseph and Susan would appear to fit nicely with Richards birth.  Hopefully SKS will  look-up the Westoning PRs in due course.

Hi I am related to Richard Cousins and Mary Odell, i will have a look tomorrow to see if i have a marriage certificate for them and also Joseph Cousins and Susan Deacon. Regards Ruth

While the Beds FHS Surnames Index CD finds me a Mary Odell marriage in Westoning in 1823 I cannot find that marriage for a Richard Cousins (or possible spelling variation).

Mary Odell was baptised Westoning on 6 Mar 1803 (born 11 Feb 1803) parents William & Martha.

Richard Cousins was baptised Flitwick 9 Jun 1805 (born 12 Apr 1805) parents Joseph & Susan.
They also baptised son John there on 11 Oct 1807 (born 24 Aug 1807)

Hi Richard Cousins and Mary ODell were married in the parish of Westoning 31st March 1823. My g g g granddad Thomas Barnes married Susan Cousins 14th Feb 1846. How are you all connected. Regards Ruth
