This has made my day.

I have been in contact with a third cousin. He had in his possession a photographh of my great great grandparents and their children taken about 1890 in their garden in Leek, Staffordshire. Not only that, they are all identified

Great grand uncles and aunt: Frederick,John Edmund,Thomas,Sarah Ellen,Henry,James and Rowland
Middle Row L 2 R
Great grandfather William, Great great grandparents William and Ann, great grand uncle George.
Front row
Great grand uncles Ralph and Harold

Great great grandfather William Gaunt was born in 1828 and GG grandmother Ann [ms Mayer] was born in 1835. Their children were born between 1857 and 1879

This photo has been through the enhancement process, the original was faded sepia.

Taking a magnified look, I am beginnng to see the family resemblences.

Look a happy bunch dont they?

How lucky Tom, I have virtually no photo's of my ancestors. :'(
