Unfortunately,I cannot trace back my Craibs until I trace my maternal grandparents line in the Glasgow area,but if I do I will keep you posted  :)

I am also related to James Craib/Barbara Morrison through there son James Craib1811-1877. James's son John 1843-1913 was my 2nd great granda. I would be interested in any info you have.

Hi maggiejay,

I have your John Craib, his wife Elspet Hendry and 5 children on my tree, although no further info on their descendants. I am also descended from James Craib (1811 -1877) through his illegitimate daughter Margaret, by Ann Ross. Margaret actually lived for a long time with her grandparents James and Barbara Craib and is acknowledged by her father in his will.

I will happily give you any information you're after. The question is, do you want to go back the line, down the line or sideways?
