This may not be the right John Colbeck all I have to go on is date of birth 1788 Cumberland.

He married a Elizabeth ?? who was born approx 1795

Looking for marriage details

I believe they emmigrated to Australia 1830.

Also there is a connection with James Colbeck Stone Mason Born Dewesbury under Leed Yorkshire
On 22/03/1821 he was transported for life for burglary

Ship Manlius 1828 His Spouse was Ann

sI think this is my ancestor. He married Elizabeth Morris in Soho London their eldest child was William. The family emigrated to Tasmania on a ship called the Ann. They  settled and had more children. William as a mariner returned and married Martha Christian fro Liverpool who are my ggg grandparents.

Hi I don`t think this John Colbeck was related to our family. I remember Christian family from Liverpool. Not sure but I think one lady  Lizzie  Christian who was a well known flower lady who sold flowers outside Central Station may have been related.
