( Somerset) 1851/1861 Census Lookup Requests Please For Edward Rossiter

Hi,

I am looking for information please about the parents and siblings of Edward Rossiter born circa 1845 in Bridgewater.

He married Sarah Jane ( maiden name not yet known) and in the 1881 Census has two children; Ernest born circa 1878  and Clifford born circa 1880.

Edward's father married Hannah Michael in 1845. Is it possible to look in the 1841 Census to find Edward's father with his parents and siblings please? Hopefully with that information I will be able to link Edward and his father to their ancestors in my database.

Hi Ian,

Many thanks for that. This line is totally new to me and I'm still unable to link it to ancestors in my database, which is unusual.

As a matter of interest are there any other Rossiter families or individuals living in Bridgewater in 1841 please?

 Also is there any sign of a marriage record for either Joseph & Ann ( around 1815) or their son Benjamin ( probably around 1850) who appears to be the father of Mary A Rossiter itemised as niece in one of the earlier postings in this thread?

theres a bessie jane.p rossiter birth registered 1869 bridwater district and a  marriage for a bessie jane.p rossiter 1892 bridgwater so she must still have been there but cant seem to find her as yet
