Oh, I thought you'd been in there...It's free...just need to sign up!
http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx

The top ones are all the images, have fun!!!! J.J.

P.s. the database only finds the page...so it isn't really looking for your exact names...but it does get close for placement...
Some won't show results for a quarter, so  if the words you use won't search,
so if you are doing a Bini ...then try bingham or binny and go back or forward to find your surname....
In the earlier ones, it could be ANYWHERE!!!! might as well look through the whole thing for austin... :P :P

Thanks Claire,

Its odd isn't it? I can't find Austin's death either.
He was a Marble Mason b.Sheffield 1850 (according to census info) I've got a copy of his marriage cert. to Ellen Marsh. That took place in Nott'm.
He lived with her in London at some point - Holborn, 9, Stamford St. Tottenham. I suppose he may have been working there. At least one of his surving children was born there (John I think) It looks like they had lots of sets of twins where none or only one survived.
BTW his name on Marriage cert is spelt correctly.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that Austin did some of the Marble carving on Sheffield Town Hall. I've spoken to a few people from Sheffield (library and some one at the town hall) and there doesn't appear to be any records...so far!

I appreciate any help.

Thanks Michelle  :)

That is too bad that Austin is so hard to find...did you search those images for his death, though?

Austin is still alive in 1891, & in London...and looks as though there are several more children born there... ( see BMD Holborn)
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/census/

Can't see him on the 1901, but now that I know there is another Austin ( 1886)...He should have shown up, and didn't!   I tried to find the younger one using wildcard, Bi* etc....and can't find him either ! J.J.

Hi JJ

I did check out freebmd and the 1881 census. I've not got free access to any of the other census'. The children that I know survived are my g-grandad Frederick Austin, my g-g-uncle John and my g-g-aunt Blanche.
Fred b 1880 (dec)
John b 1887
Blanche b ?
The above dates are from memory, but I think they're right. I've not found a record of Fred's death either. I know they settled in Shireoaks (presumably after he came out of the army) but thats where my granddad and aunt grew up. My dad remembers the house (its still there).

Re the other Austin b 1886, did it say who his parents were? Maybe he's another child that died in infancy?

Cheers Michelle

Blanche is on the free BMD Holborn vol 1b    pge 608

Just try puttin in Bini, with a wide date range say 1881 when you know about to 1930....using london under county and you'll get those results and more...
I got all this information for free...You need full access to see who's in the households but with a name like Bini, and all are in London...I'd say it's your bunch...although John is registered with an Ellen who died a year later...so if not a twin, it's likely a cousin...
1991 London
Austin Bini 1852
Ellen Bini 1852
Frederick Bini  1881
Austin Bini 1886
Blanche Bini 1890
Edith Bini 1890
