After several years thoroughly researching the names on the Sudbury Memorials, Shirley Smith (assisted by Val Herbert) have put their findings on a web site.

Lots of familiar Sudbury Suffolk names of young men who gave their lives.

It's a brilliant web site and has taken Shirley a while making sure her research is correct.

I heard this morning that she is now working on the WWII names on the Memorial.

As I am working on the Little Waldingfield War memorial I am happy to listen to Shirley 

By the way - she also came second in the Adult Tap Dancing with a newly formed Dance Group at the Sudbury Festival of Dance this week 
Nice to know she takes some time off now and then
