Nathan Benstead 1831 Ely Completed

Hi I am trying to trace Nathan Benstead  born 1831 Ely.

I have info up to 1874 around the North East, however I cannot find reference to him until he turns up in 1901 census in Ely workhouse and then his death in 1909 in Saffron Walden.

His children were in the Middlesbrough workhouse in 1881.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where I should look

I cant seem to find him, did he have a middle name?

No middle name.

I can only find one other Nathan Benstead and his middle name was Paul though he is not related.
