Marriage not on GRO or LDS, then what?
« on: Wednesday 24 November 04 20:26 GMT (UK) »
How to find a marriage certificate if it hasn't been indexed yet?

I was looking for the marriage of John Maybury and Ann (or Hannah) Timmins m. late 1840s or 1850.Maybe in Dudley, WOR.

It is not on the LDS or freeBMD website.

Can I still order it somehow, even if I don't know the exact date?

Dave,

An Anne Timmins got married in Dudley in July, August or September in 1850 (1837online).  I didn't look far, only the 2nd quarter I checked, so there may be others. I'll email you the full document.

I did find a Hannah Maybury in the FAMILYHISTORYONLINE Free 1881 Census, aged 64 & living with 2 sons - 29 & 25 in Wolverly Worcester.

Hope its some use.
