Hedges at Shere
« on: Friday 02 March 07 21:14 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if someone with good eyes can help me?  C1861 for Shere, Sry,
folio 69 p 33 household 183:  Eden Hedges is there with her family.  Can anyone decipher the name of the second child - Eleanor? Elvina? Elvira?  I can't trace any of those in later censuses to give a clue.
I don't entirely  trust Ancestry - they have transcribed her brother Wanslow as Vanslove.
If anyone can help I should be very grateful - and does anyone else know anything about the family -?travellers- they're quite hard to find
Many thanks   Maggott
