I am finding
FlashEarth to be a really useful tool in all sorts of ways. For instance you can pinpoint a building or location and then send a link to a friend giving them the exact spot. If you are planning a visit to a Churchyard in an area you have never visited before you can easily zoom and scan for a suitable parking space.
I’ve found it useful to see how far my gt gt Grandmother had to walk to the Railway Station when she left her small Wiltshire village to become a nurse in Central London in the 1860s.
