1901 - Daisy and Florence BULLINARIA lookup please
« on: Monday 05 March 07 05:46 GMT (UK) »
Trying to find Daisy and Florence BULLINARIA in 1901 to establish parentage. Both were born Greenwich, from an old Medway family, Daisy in 1893 and Florence 1897. Tried looking for just the christian names and could not find them that way either.

While looking for others with that name I found it had been spelt nine different ways in the indexes. Tried all these again and nothing.

Thanks bearkat.

Unfortunately its not, its Walter BULLIN and Catherine WILSON, which I had checked.

Daisy is the right age but Florence a bit old. Florence May BULLIN Sep qtr 1895 Woolwich.

Just found some others indexed as BULLINWICK. Make that ten ways of spelling it now.

Hi Ian

I don't know if you ever managed to find them in 1901 but I couldn't see them.  However, I think they are there in 1911 as BULLENAIRA - just in case you hadn't seen them.

Thanks Casalguidi.

Not sure that i did find them. Am at work so can't check. Looks like they are children of Andrew who married Jane COOPER.

Interesting family, the original Andrew BULLINARIA arriving in the Medway from northern Italy about 1764. Was researching them as they married into the CONSTABLE family from Hulkes Lane at Chatham, a family I have been researching for a cousin.

My Great Grandmothers maiden name was Bullinaria.  Married my Great Grandad William George Harris.  Her first names were Florence Wilhelmina.

Thank you CaroleW, My dad had mentioned the surname Ludwig.  Must have meant Ladewig.  Noticed the first name Percy in the Bullinaria trace.  I had a Great Uncle Percy (Harris).  Willian also featured a couple of times on my dad's side.  My dad said all the eldest sons were called William, my dad was called George William (Harris) as a break from tradition. My dad's side lived in Deptford then moved to South London. Regards
