I work in Hampton from time to time. I'll ask about Kempton Villas next time I'm there.

Did a 1901 search on the National Archives site and got a reference to Kempton Villas, Linden Road without needing credits

is a link to multimap showing where it is in Hampton.

I am utterly amazed at all the help that I have had on this question. Thank you ALL so very much.  Everyday I seem to learn about new sites and what is available where, it is all so confusing. Thank goodness for Rootschat!!

You're very welcome!

I'll try to see if they still exist and - if I remember! - take a camera to take a photo. Don't hold your breath - I'm not due to go for a couple of months.

Thanks that would be great as I now live in Gloucestershire and would find it a bit difficult to get there!!! I won't hold my breath as that might be bad for my health!! But I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I've had no need to go yet, I'm afraid.
