Hi Tazzie,

Sorry forgot this

egistration district:     Woburn
Sub-registration district:    Woburn
ED, institution, or vessel:    6c

Household schedule number:    115
Household Members:
Name    Age
Eliza Coleman    16
John Coleman    14
Mary Coleman    47
Thomas Coleman    5
William Coleman    48
William Coleman    17

If you get to see the view the census tells us that John aged 14 is an Agr/Lab but it also looks as if the children were entered in the wrong order & it was ment to be William who was an Agr/Lab as both ages were also crossed through?

Hope this help Judi :)

Hi Judi.....fancy running into you on here now thought you would be busy chasing down your lot...LOL... ;D

Thats brilliant its  Stevington then . I was going back over siblings of my 3xgreat nana when I began to doubt I had the right mother. This has to make Mary a Parslow/Perslow before she married William so it's a great help.
 Many many thanks

                     Tazzie ;D

Hi Tazzie,

I have information on the Coleman's going back to 1569, starting in the village of Woburn with William Coleman, who married Mary Parslow.

I can send you what I have!!!

Stuart

  Hello Stuart.

Been ages since I looked at this lot nice to see someone found the thread.
I have William Coleman as son of  James Coleman and Fanny nee Garrett.
Mary Parslow as daughter of James Parslow and Jane?
William & Mary's daughter Jane married William Favel.
Daughter Elizabeth Favel/ Favell married David Underwood.
Their daughter Elizabeth was my grt grandma.
I have got a bit more involved with my paternal side since more parish records appeared on Ancestry and have stopped on my local ones.
I live near by so have been to the village loads of times but the grave stones are all crumbling and hard to read. Who are you descended from along the line ?

Hi Tazzie,

William Coleman (who married Mary Parslow) is my 4xGreat Grandfather (I'm Stuart Coleman).  I can trace the Coleman's through a direct line back to 1569:

William Coleman b1803 Woburn m1824 (+ Mary Parslow), son of
James Coleman b1767 Woburn m1791 (+ Fanny Garret), son of
James Coleman b1729 Little Brickhill/Woburn m1759 (+ Susannah Hatton), son of
Thomas Coleman b(c)1700 Aspley Guise/Woburn m1723 (+ Mary Crouch), son of
Thomas Coleman b1665 Woburn/Aspley Guise m1698 (+ Martha Sapwell), son of
Charles Coleman b1637 Woburn/Aspley Guise m? (wife unknown), son of
Francis Coleman b1598 Little Brickhill/Woburn m1637 (+ Avis Scott), son of
Thomas Coleman b1569 Toddington/Little Brickhill m1598 (+ Anne White), son of
Thomas Coleman

I can send you a wealth of information on this, with a 4 page timeline that shows crucial events and various birth, court, will & lands records from 1569-1803; can you send me your email and I will send you this :)

Hope this is of interest,
Stuart
