DAVIS / SUMMERSCALES / MASON
« on: Saturday 10 March 07 23:05 GMT (UK) »
Looking for any info  about Lucy Summerscales, a descendant of an emigrant to Australia in early 1900s (possibly Mary Ann or Esther DAVIS, the daughter of Mary Ann Davis/ Wakerley/ Mason ).

Lucy Summerscales was living in Hurslton Park, Norfolk Island in 1979 and wrote to a relative in USA with details of the MASON family tree.

Thanks

The Norfolk Island Phone Book - you could try phoning or writing to the Summerscales listed.

Thanks Christine for the link to the Norfolk Island Phone Book.  I'll check out those listed as there must be some connection.  The copy of the old 1979 letter mentions that she and her husband "raised a fine family" - let's hope they are the Summerscales still on Norfolk Island!
