Would appreciate lookup for James & Euphemia Thomson
who were married in Alva some time in 1869. I have been
trying to find the family on the 1881 Census but they do not
seem to appear anywhere in Scotland. There was a Son
John born 13 July 1880 in Alva, he married my Grandmothers
Sister Christina Cliff 1903 in Glasgow. I have a feeling that
James and Euphemia may have died before the 1881 Census. Never realised there were so many ladies with the
name Euphemia around. Obviously, I know less about my
Scottish heritage than I thought.
