Hi Murray, I played football with an Alan Kemp at Nicholas Chamberlaine, nickame 'Baggy', would that be your father? In any case send me a personal message and I will have a chat and send you what I have discovered.

Don't some people have all the luck! :P I'd give an arm and a leg for someone telling me they used to play football with my dad! :P

Hi

Just located this after restarting my family history search after many years.  My father was Jeffrey Kemp, Walter Charles Kemp's son from Jubilee Terrace in Collycroft, Bedworth.  It seems strange that my father never spoke of this.  Good detective work though.

Any info on the family would be gratefully received.

Jeanette

I know, but it allowed me to send it so wasn't sure if the rule had changed. :)

Hi Jeanette, I did ask my friend Peter Kemp if he recognised any of the names but he didn't. He was born and lived in that Jubilee Terrace however so I am sure he would be of the same family.
Walter does feature in the family in fact Walter Charles Kemp married Sarah Ann Lee at Bedworth in 1899. Another of the line, Edward and his family, lived in Marston Lane in 1901.
When able PM me and I will send what I have.
