can you help find john whitworth

hi,
please can someone help me find my gr grandfather john whitworth he was born in 1837 middleton
i have got him on the 1881 census married to sarah aged 44 and all this is correct
but before this date and after this date he doesn't seem to exist, its driving me mad!!!!!!!!

Think I've got him right at the beginning...don't think he's with parents though...

Could be, it's just he's out of order with the other children's ages - could be an error by the enumerator or could be a cousin?

Have you got a birth certificate for any of the children?   That will show Sarah's maiden name and hopefully help you to find their marriage.
