Hi,
I Wonder if any one can help me, i am researching the Thompson family from Gormesal and i am trying to find out parents of a John Thompson bapt 1795 Wife name was Jane?
and siblings if possible.
Where is Gormesal and what nearest town would it be to
any information i would be most gratefull for

Gormersal as you have it spelt is just one way of spelling what is today know as Gomersal, a drive of 12 minutes from Bradford, a drive of 17 minutes from Huddersfield and 18 mins from Leeds. 

You may know of this place The Red House Museum (Brontes)this is in Gomersal.
