Searching in Liverpool, Shropshire, London, Worcester and Holywell, Stafford and Cheshire.  (and eventually in Ireland) :-)

Thank you for looking Donna..  I am trying to discover an approximate year the first DURNEYS came over from Ireland. I have one in the 1871 census Looks like he might have been the first.

This is an old post...............and as such you have probably discovered Durney's were in England way before 1871

for example............Their are many in the 1841 census

If you want the post closed can you amend the header with (COMPLETED), the moderator will then move it to the closed section.........

Fletcher (Glouc into Warwickshie into Lancs?), BUCKLEY (Chatham area), Watson (Chatham area).
