Link: Historical Buildings of Ireland
« on: Thursday 05 April 07 16:46 BST (UK) »
I've noticed queries on a couple of threads about large country houses in Ireland. Some of these were on the Co. Wicklow board so I phoned the librarian in the Wicklow Local History Dept. who told me about the The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH) website. This site  contains useful information about some of the Buildings of Ireland. NIAH is a section within the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. The work of the NIAH involves identifying and recording the architectural heritage of Ireland, from 1700 to the present day
