excellent - I just sent you a very long email with your family back to the early 1500s - ill be sending more later.

I hate the early typed pages in the GRO Indexes its so hard to tell Ms from Hs in the scans. I guess she was Alice H Titley then, as you saw I wasnt even sure abt Joans, but the H makes sense - so now Ive learnt something new ;)

Ill be interested to see the copy and see if it tallies with my own work. Theres a few others who have researched various parts of that line as well.

Hi Segwun and welcome :)

My father, now deceased was a train driver at Boston Lincs. At one stage his fireman was Ronald Epton b c1925. When the depot closed in 1964 Ron became a driver at New England depot Peterborough.

Thanks roger...

To others, I need some info on the following:

William Epton b. 25 Jun 1826 in Addelthorpe - d. 6 Dec 1910 in Croydon
m. Hannah Jackson b. 1827 in Ross, married 29 Jan 1852 in East Kirkby ?

Would like a list of their children, etc., so I can continue my search

If anyone can help, would be appreciated so much.
