burial index lookup please
« on: Monday 09 April 07 10:08 BST (UK) »
There is a Sarah E Guy in the death index for September quarter of 1915 (St Giles 1b 524).  She is the right age for my great grandmother (59) and there is no clear evidence of her death otherwise.  Great Grandfather took another wife about 1903, but there is no record of their marriage.  Would the burial index tell me any more details about her, and where she is buried (Great grandfather buried with second wife in Brompton cemetery)?  She lived in the Islington-Holborn area when married, so the place is about right.  Could someone look up the Burial index for me please and let me know if there is anything useful?

Hello Harold,
yes, we have been in contact before.  I seem to have hit a stalemate.  I am hoping to get to England next year, but it may be quite late in the year.  In the meantime I am still looking when I have an opportunity, but it is very frustrating.  I feel like I don't even know how or where to look sometimes.  I had even forgotten this reference to Sarah E Guy in the burial index.  I might try posting it again, to see if someone can help.
Hope life is going well for you
Diane
