1841 census lookup Triggell
« on: Tuesday 10 April 07 04:04 BST (UK) »
I would appreciate a look up of the 1841 census for John & Jane Triggle/Triggell.  I think if still alive they may be at Bramshaw Fordingbridge, aged in their late 50's.
Thank you
Kerob

We must think alike, I have just found those deaths & was wondering if it was John who died 1864 & was about to ask if you were able to check the 61 census.
Thank you!!

Hi,

No his wife isn't with him.

In case they're related, there is this family in Fordingbridge in 1841, transcibed as LUGELL but looks like TRIGILL,

1841  HO107/397/12  f.8  p.9  Fordingbridge
Frogham

George TRIGILL   25   Ag Labourer
Jane                 25
John                  2                          All born in County

I can see this family in 1851 with a daughter Jane, (let me know if you need the details) so perhaps one of these is the Jane found by Suz who died in Jun Q 1851.

Hi again
George is John's son & he did have a daughter Jane in 1842.  If it is not a lot of trouble would you check to see if John's married daughters are on the 51 census.  Jane married George Sevier at Fordingbridge & Mary married James Masters of Stuckton (not sure where that is) also  at Fordingbridge. I know Mary & Jane are John's daughters but haven't been able to find their birth place or year so this would really help.
Thanks
Kerob
