Caermarvon council school 1906-1920

Hi I have come accross someone born in 1906 in Berkshire yet he attended Caermarvon council school sometime between 1906 and 1920 he was an orphan or illigitamete child any ideas why he would?
Dobson,Dixon,Sillitoe,Friend,Vinten,Partis,Punshon, Gordon,Troup,Clarke,Mcneil

Was his mum in service in Berkshire but originally from Caernarvon? Was it a Berkshire school named after Lord Caernavon? Or one actually in Wales? Where have you found the information? can you give us the mothers name etc so we can find her on the 1901 census. The more you can tell us the easier it will be to try and help  :)

There are Admission & Attendance Registers for some of the Caernarfon schools at the Caernarfon Record Office. Unfortunately the catalogue is not online, but the staff will be able to advise you of what is available.
