Had my brother check that address out today.
He's reply was...
No 20 Central Hill.
It appears the police station (Gypsy Hill) is
on this site followed by the housing estate.

Hi Sue,

Thank you and many thanks to your obedient brother as well!   Perhaps the Local Studies Section at Lambeth library may have some archive photographs of the area.  I have had recent successes with Richmond library,  they proved to be a great help.
