Hi,

What was Charles`s address on the marriage certificate?  I can check to see who was living there on the 1841 census if you haven`t already done so.

Regards,
Mo

Hi Mosiefish,
the only info on the marriage certificate is that he resided in Castleton, however his son James born 25/ 8/1848 was born at Firlane - does this help?
Thanks,
Jaq

Hi Jaq,

If he had stated a road/street/farm etc on his marriage apart from Castleton then I could have looked it up using the index on my discs.  Sometimes this leads to finding family still living at the same address.   I also have Ancestry but the discs are still sometimes quite useful.  A pity he only stated Castleton.

Regards,
Mo
