1861 Census Worthing
« on: Thursday 02 December 04 19:06 GMT (UK) »
Could someone please look up Elizabeth Hickmott on the 1861 census for Worthing.  I have her living at 19 West Buildings in June 1863, she would have been 63 so I'm hoping she was there in 1861 she was living with her daughter Hannah at the time who I know used to travel.

Hi Jeanw

Sorry to be so negative, but the 1861 census for Sussex is not yt freely available.

It can be accessed in most local libraries, the lds centre or the records office in Lewes for East Sussex or Chichester for West Sussex.
