Hilton,Murton & Dufton Lead Mines:Complete

Anybody  know where i would find a list of the miners who worked these mines,say 1905-1920?,

I think Kendal record office will be your best bet.  If they don't have anything they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I've tried looking for the records of the Lead Mining Co in Hilton ect, but have found nothing
but by going thro the BMD for Murton Chapel I can give these, but bare in mind that the Gypsum
Mines are just down the road and a "Miner" does not say where they are Employed.
