Louisa (born 1838)

They came to Australia in 1849.

Also
Louisa (wife) maiden name was Millais but cant find that name in a search either

I tries all sorts of way but not Piero!


That interesting his name is Piero and I have always known it as Perry.

That may explain the problems getting information. I thought Louisa (Millais) was from france but had no idea Perry was not born in UK.  Both could be from France.

I guess I will have to try and figure out where they were both born.
They came to Australia in 1849 so will have to get some certificates here I guess

Kate, I searched for child Louisa born 1838 + or - 5 years. Then I looked through all the Louisas that came up - think there were about 58 of them.   

And it didn't neccessarily say parents not born in England - it said N for not born in that COUNTY. So they could turn up in Parish Records somewhere.

Have you found the image for yourself now? If not, I'll take a second look for you.

Yes i just seen the 1841 census image at Ancestry and made a family tree for them at Ancestry
How did you find it? I typed all sorts of ways and couldnt find it

On the free BDM I have just found children Charles 1840 and another Child Olivia born Lambeth which Im sure are mine
but on the IGI is a marriage for Perry Cook and Louisa Berry which could be wrong or right !

We are going to the UK/Europe in a couple of weeks so trying to find out as much as I can.
Now you finding the Census has really helped so much
