Hi Joanne  :)

When the photo is lightened, it shows marked banding (dark lines) across the image. This could either be the scan or the original negative/print.

I'm on my laptop at the moment so can't take the bands out with limited resources. It would be worth trying to do a larger scan at minimum 300 dpi resolution.

it could be a lot better,  as you say gadget with a higher dpi, but i gave it a try there will no doubt be better ones ;D :o

Got rid of banding, and lightened image, but unfortunely there was not enough detail to do much with the baby

Those are all so lovely.  But I am enclosing one that I think has a better resolution. At least I tried to change it.  Can you tell, I'm not really computer savey.
