have details down to me Thanks to another family member who has done the hard work - and looking backwards.

I assume you have seen this (and it may not be him?!) but there is a record of the death of a Thomas TALBOT aged 88, Langport 1866 5c 285.  Only a couple of years out on the date of birth and Langport is not a million miles from Street.
