I will log in tomorrow after I get back from work to see latest update! Meanwhile I have contacted my two cousins about it and await their reply! They can both be reached by email. I am sure they will be thrilled - only this weekend I was asked to research Myer Craingold's ancestry by my cousin. His real name was Israel hence the conflicting records Morris/Myer etc. Re Servian's they came from Lake Serwy in NE Poland in about 1875 to Liverpool. One branch stayed in Liverpool (mine) - the other went to Chicago in 1905. I have just come back from an international genealogical conference in Chicago where I was able to make further discoveries. But this is wonderful.

Hi all
It would seem that when I try to log on anywhere except on my old groaning PC I can't post.
My old groaning machine crashed last night ... so frustrating >:(

Torquay as you know we have made contact .. and thank you for your e mail this evening.

Suz thanks so much for the nudge.
It is right & proper that the menu goes back to the family, that was my main reasoning for posting about it..... & I so love family history because if you wait long enough after posting things you do get responses.
I have had a few responses after posting 5 years ago on other sites.. I got together with Prue M after leaving a post a long old time ago.... it turns out she is the gg grand daughter of my grandfathers sister and we have had an amazing exchange of family information.
So after 81 1/2 years the menu is going home

Torquay I will be in touch

Cal  :)
