I am not [yet] a member.  I am a member of several genealogical and historical societies in the USA, but to date I have only joined those that I have personally visited and worked with due to my limited financial resources.  I am hoping to make a personal visit to Dumfries/Galloway in 2012 or 2013 with most or all of my kids and grandkids, at which time I will most likely join in order to gain the greatest benefit and support the work they do.
Scotland:  Kerr, Bell, Tweedie, Johnstone, Carruthers, Moffat, Jardine
England:  Willis, Outhwaite, Groves, Masters, Kentish, Jenner
Germany:  Pellman (Pöhlman), Schimmel, Meier (Meyer)

I was, and receiving their newsletters until the end of last year.  I have not had the funds to continue.  I loved the newsletters.

Hi I have a mary Kerr  (spelling variation Car ) my 4th great grandmother she married Hamilton Agnew 0n 27 May 1802 in the Parish of Whithorn Wigton
 ( I have a copy of parish record off SP site )wonder if this links up with anyone ?

Hi again, after a little more research I have Mary Kerr b1781 died 7Dec 1857 whithorn  (married Hawthorn Agnew 1802 Whithorn wigton ) she was the daughter of

John Kerr b1744 and Mary Dunse b1747
Farm Labourer
wonder if this fits with anyone

I also have a copy off SP a death certificate for a mary Kerr april 28 1859 parish of Rerrick father Micheal and mother Agnes Car???on can't make the maiden name out sorry if it links with anyone let me know and I will e/m it to you
