Hello,
Does any one have access to these records?
I need information off the marriage for
Charles Hudson and Jane Sanderson I located it in the IGI...as being

What I need to know is what was Charles parish name and his and hers parents name if its on the record.

In 1803 when the standard parish register was in use the names of parents were not one of the items requested unless they happened to be witnesses and even then the relationship would not be shown.  The parish of both parties was recorded.

Hello David,  :)

Thank You for the answer,
Explaining- the parents would not be  recorded, for the standard 1803 register.
But - that the Parish of both groom and bride would be on the register.

The Parish, would help me greatly narrow down the search.

A "Big Thanks" for your knowledge of this
Smiles,
LAH

If you can access a local LDS centre, you can check the films

Bishop's transcripts for Weighton-Market, 1600-1881  Church of England. Parish Church of Weighton-Market (Yorkshire)
Bishop's transcripts for Shipton, near Weighton-Market, 1600-1870  Church of England. Chapelry of Shipton (near Weighton-Market, Yorkshire) - this would seem to be the one

It is interesting that 2 films are given - and for different parishes

Although not indexed on the IGI - the LDS do have a film of the original parish register for Shipton and this may provide information - however, it seems marriages for 1803 are not listed as included, so perhaps they only survived in the form of the BishopsTranscript.

If you look at the film, however, you may be able to find the parents, if they remained in the same parish.

Hello Trish,
Thank You , for your answers.
I do think this will help, me.. when going to LDS History Rooms to order this film/s.
It takes around 4 weeks, to get them back to here .. however the waiting as always is worth it. Then it does become -
Almost like waiting out Christmas morning- when things are so new and exciting, and  unknown till then. ;D
Smiles, have a wonderful day-
